One person cheating is easy and nobody will notice at scale. If there’s 100,000 people and I cheat, who’s going to know and it won’t destroy the system.
Problem is — everyone thinks that way and everyone cheats - think about Global Warming.
This can impact anything and everything you create. Don't allow for exploitations like this.

Build Incentives in a way that makes sure nothing but doing the 'right thing' or behaviour is done.
